The Basics
I'm a missionary teacher at Highlands International School in La Paz, Bolivia. I work with 60 high school students as their English teacher, introducing them to great literature, challenging them to think about "big ideas," helping them organize essays and speeches and praying for them as I walk through life with them beyond the walls of the classroom.
But where do you come from?
- I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, but I really grew up at 3 Crosses Neighborhood Church in Castro Valley.
- I graduated from Pepperdine University in 2010 with a stop-overs in London, England and Athens, Greece.
- Fulbright Korea brought me to Gongju, South Korea, where I taught 400 Korean high school students a week from 2010-2013.
That's it?
